Out of the washer/dryer they are perfect and oh so soft but just stretch out too fast. I can wear them once before having to wash them again. Most Paige denim can get a few wears before they stretch too much. I would suggest maybe a size down, but I’m not sure that would help the stretch factor.

These jeans are so soft and so comfortable, and generally I do find them to be more resistant to losing their shape than other similar stretchy skinny jeans. The trick is in the sizing, I think. I have a pair of Paige Jane Zip Crop Transcend jeans, same wash, in my usual size and I have this pair in a size smaller. My normal size fits well for the first wear, but after a couple of wears I need to belt them to keep them from sagging on the backside. I was going on a trip and wanted a pair that would still look good after a few wears without washing. These are so comfortable for travel that I decided to try again, but with the next size down. At first they were tight. Not uncomfortable. But they looked a lot tighter than I wanted them to look, and I was muffin topping a bit. You could say they looked more like leggings than jeans. But after I wore them for a day, they stretched to just the right place, and they pretty much stay there until I decide to wash them. At that point, they are perfect skinny jeans that fit just the way I want them to fit. If you are between sizes, I suggest going with the smaller. And even if you are not between sizes you might want to order two sizes and just see if you can get into the smaller pair without serious discomfort. I am pretty firmly the same size in all other Paige styles (and other brands) and would very rarely size down. But I am glad that I experimented with it for this style.

Absolutely love these jeans. They are soft and have some stretch, very comfortable. Size was good and the ankle length is perfect for a regular length on me (I’m 5″2′).

This is a much tighter fitting style. I got my same size but will be wearing them more like “jeggings”. They are same Paige comfort – just more fitting.

Agree with another reviewer that these stretched out too fast. Can only wear them once before they start to sag and bag. Then when I dried them on low, the fabric seems to have over tightened in spots and now they are wrinkled and not able to be worn again.

I really wish these jeans had worked for me, because in many ways they are perfect–good mid-rise, nice deep color that goes with everything, and a good shape for my body. Unfortunately I found the fabric to be unbearably itchy and uncomfortable. The fabric is mostly rayon and polyester, so I guess that’s why. I’ve never liked a denim that wasn’t at least 90% cotton, so these went back. Can’t comment on stretching out or washing–I wasn’t willing to gamble almost $200 on them softening up enough over time.
I wish the Gap hadn’t discontinued their legging jeans from a few years ago, those were perfect!

Jigging-Like material, but they feel comfy. Good ankle length on 5’4″.

Cute, but still too long for 5’2” person :(. Returned

These jeans fit great! The waist is perfect and the legs are super skinny. I did find they could be just about an inch longer and I’m 5’61/2″. They hold their shape well, but do stretch a tiny bit, which I solved by wearing a belt. The color could be a little less faded, but overall 4.5 stars from me. Very hard to find jeans like this!!

These are true to size if not slightly generous. Cute.

These jeans have a raw hem. It does not show that in the picture but they do. Bummer too because they are cute other than they look like they were cut with scissors at the bottom. They’ll be going back.
